London Bombings

I am still sick of what happened in London. My friend who I stayed with goes to the University of London and she travels the underground daily. Look at what she had to say:
Hello friends and family,
I am safe and unhurt.
I left this morning at 9am and got on the tube (subway) at about 9:05.
The train I was on went one station and then was delayed. We went
one more station and then the entire underground system was shut down.
At that point we were told that there had been power surges. I made
my way into town thinking that it was nothing much to worry about. I
was on a bus when the army pulled in front of it and closed off the
street ahead with tape. I tried to get to the library but was not
able to due to more police tape. I found a safe university of London
building and stayed there, watching the news for about 2 hrs. Then I
walked to a friend's house who lived nearby. After five this evening
I joined the thousands of other people walking across London. Forty
minutes of later I met up with a friend and took the bus home.
It has been quite a day and I am still trying to realise exactly what
has happened. Thank you all for your emails and calls.
Blessings,
Megan
It's crazy. I traveled on the underground tube everyday that I was in London. I seen the people, the families, the blue collar workers, and the averege joes. It was really neat to watch the different people- different styles etc. But now that this bombing has happened, its weird. If I stayed longer what if...? Anyways I've posted some pictures from my trip. I'm putting them on Shutterfly, so if you want to see them. Send me your email or msn.
